Detailed information

Dermalize Phantom:

Ultra-thin tattoo protection film is an innovative product designed to provide the highest level of comfort. It is half the normal thickness (0.01 mm) of most similar products available on the market; it is extremely flexible and comfortable to wear, sterile and its matt finish makes it almost invisible on tattooed skin.

It is available for professional tattooists in roll format (15 cm x 10 m), ideal for the first application after finishing the tattoo.

It is a breathable latex-free film made of ultra-thin sterile polyurethane and hypoallergenic acrylic glue. It is registered as a Class I medical device with the Italian Ministry of Health.

Tips for applying Dermalize film

  • Before starting to apply the product, be sure to wash your hands thoroughly and wear clean gloves.
  • Measure the tattoo well and cut pieces in the sizes you really need.
  • Start by thoroughly cleaning and drying the tattoo.
  • Place the adhesive surface leaving at least 3-5 cm from the edge of the tattoo. To adhere it to the skin, press lightly with your fingers.
  • If the tattoo is not completely covered, add additional sheets overlapping each other at 2 cm.
  • The first application lasts approximately 12 to 24 hours. The following applications last 24 to 48 hours.
  • Before each application, clean the affected area with soap and water and dry thoroughly.
  • If the film peels off, it should be replaced with a new one.
  • To remove the film, lift one corner of the film and stretch horizontally along the skin surface to remove the adhesive bond. Continue stretching from the edge towards the centre. When both sides of the film are partially removed, grasp both sides and pull horizontally and parallel to the skin until it is completely removed. Water may be used to help remove the adhesive bond from the skin.
