Description

What is the Ink Hunter Master laser and what is it for?

The new Ink Hunter Master is a cosmetic Nd:Yag Q-Switched laser with a wavelength of 1064nm ideal for the removal of black ink on the skin. It also has a KTP filter to affect a wider range of colours, being able to remove even reds, blues and browns, depending on their degree of intensity.

How does it work?

The laser energy is focused on the points of the skin where there is ink and after having chosen a suitable power and filters it is projected onto the skin. The pigments absorb the energy and explode, breaking the capsule where the ink is located. The remains of pigments that have become free in the body will be eliminated by the lymphatic system.

After a reasonable time (minimum 2 months) we will repeat the operation with a little more power. We insist that the number of sessions will vary according to each case, so it is not possible to guarantee a result per number of sessions.

Does it leave signs? Does it burn?

Definitely NO *. The basic principle is based on the fact that the Ink Hunter cosmetic laser emits a beam of light at a high speed (5-8 nano seconds), so there is no time for the skin to absorb enough energy to burn. For example, it is as if we pass the flame of a lighter under the hand quickly, if we do it more slowly we would burn ourselves.

* As long as the correct handling is carried out.

How many sessions can I remove a tattoo?

It will always depend on the density of the ink, the age of the tattoo, the depth of the pigment and the type of colour. It should be noted that in colours such as yellow or green the number of repetitions can be much longer and we will not be able to obtain optimum results. All this depends on the power of the laser we use.

Is the power of the laser important?

Yes, especially for second sessions when the pigment is a little weaker and the energy it can absorb is not so high. This is when having a laser such as the Ink Hunter Master model is essential.

Does it matter to have a phototherapy session afterwards?

The results speak for themselves, the regeneration observed during the first few days by clients who have received a phototherapy session is much faster than those who have not. This is because it is a cold light that stimulates cell regeneration with a wavelength of 650 nm.

This is why we strongly recommend its use, even for application after any work that may have damaged the skin such as tattooing or micro pigmentation.
