Since the withdrawal of the inks that were previously approved in the country, there is a lot of uncertainty among tattoo professionals since there is no brand that meets the parameters required by the AEMPS to manufacturers for the approval of color inks.

Petition for Regulation Same as in Europe

From the association UNTAP (Union Nacional De Tatuadores Y Animadores Profesionales) have created this petition to collect signatures to ask the AEMPS for the same regulation of inks in Spain as in the rest of the European Union. Currently the AEMPS requires manufacturers already approved in the E.U. to be approved in Spain. We hope that the Spanish legislation will catch up with the European legislation and in the meantime we leave you the link to the petition to help change this situation:
